What are your opening hours?
Monday - Thursday - 8am - 4pm
Friday - Saturday - 8am - 5pm
Sunday - 9am - 4pm
Last orders for food from the Kitchen ~ 60 mins before business close.
Last orders for Coffee and Cake ~ 15 mins before business close.
We operate on a walk-in basis, except for bookings of more than 6 people. If you’d like to book for a larger party, email beth@checketts.co.uk and we’ll let you know our availability.
Our team works exceptionally hard to accommodate everyone. At the weekends, we are busiest between mid morning and midday. During these busy periods, there may be a short wait for a table, and we really appreciate your patience.
Can we book?
Do you cater for people with allergies?
All the time. We have a thorough allergy procedure at Checketts and all team members undertake allergy training on their first day. As a team, we work hard to cater for people with food allergies. With that being said, we have a small, busy kitchen and cannot guarantee the absence of allergens due to cross-contamination.
Do you offer Vegan and Gluten Free options?
Yes we have many delicious vegan and gluten free options - look out for ‘GF’ and ‘GFO’ for our gluten free dishes or ask for our Vegan menu. Take a look at our menus here!
Do you have wheelchair access ?
We have wheelchair access through the back of the building. Let us know you’re coming and we’ll ensure access is clear and one of our team is ready to welcome you.
Are you dog friendly?
We have two car parks; one on either side of the building, as well as street parking along the Main Road. If you’re struggling to find a space, you’re very welcome to use the car park at The Kings Arms, which is just a short walk from us.
Where can I park ?
Do you welcome children of all ages ?
We love little ones at Checketts. We have a kids menu with tasty food and drinks, plus colouring to keep children (and parents) entertained whilst you enjoy your visit. Highchairs & baby change facilities are available. Plus General Manager Beth is a child magnet and will be more than happy jigging your little one around whilst you enjoy your food.

Are you still a Butchers and Deli ?
No, we’re no longer a butchers or deli. Since our refurbishment in 2020, we’ve transformed into a lovely café restaurant, serving a range of delicious food and drinks.
